Frank Clark no longer ****ing sucks

Ok, guys. Frank has stopped drinking and is serious about this season. I can’t stop drinking for more than 8hrs at a time so Clark’s abstinence is notable and impressive. He and Andy had a heart to heart, shared some cheeseburgers (Frank is probably now also vegan and went Impossible Burger), chugged some Mr. Pibb, and came to an understanding.

Watch his presser from today. It’s probably one of the most real and honest things I’ve seen from a player. If you’re rooting against Frank Clark after that you’re probably either repressing some demons in your life or are related to Red Dawg.

This is a safe space to celebrate Frank Clark this season. 8 sack minimum. Let’s build this guy up rather than choosing to spend the season breaking him down.

Join me on the Shark bandwagon. There’s blood in the water.

And the obligatory: keep doubting Frank ****ing Clark.

Both of these things can be true:

Frank Clark can be, on the whole, a disappointment whose lack of health and production in 2021 was a key factor in the Chiefs not making/winning the SB, while also being a guy who has had some big moments.

I’ll continue to hope he can stay healthy and productive this year while also hoping that doesn’t lead to the Chiefs recommitting to him after 2022.

This is absolutely it. I thought he was pretty good last game when in, and I know Williams was just back but the Clark safety was one for the ages. At this point if I get anything at all from him I'm ecstatic.

he's going to destroy denver and rack up some garbage sacks that make twistedchief absolutely hit the griddy in this thread every weekend

Turns out thread title was 100% accurate.

He clearly doesn't "suck" this year, regardless of how you feel about him.

Look. I haven't seen a burst like Clark had on that safety since well forever so Im excited for him. But he doesn't get the 3rd down sack in the middle of the game when the game is close like say Chris Jones does. I think sack numbers can be quite overrated because yes as you have said many come when teams have a big lead. That last Bob Sutton team lead the league in sacks. Id like to see Clark get some earlier in games but he is looking better. Just disappointing you never know when good and healthy Frank Clark is coming. Even when he was balling out on our SB run he was getting sacks when the game was iced meanwhile Jones was doing it right off the bat.

Some of y'all are just gonna keep on putting pennies in the light socket.

He does this every year. He has 2-3 games where he's credible, convinces y'all that he's over {insert whatever excuse y'all have made for him THIS time} and you're ready to love again.

He'll disappear again in a week or two. Just like he'd disappeared for the first 5 weeks of the season.

Frank Clark Still ****ing Sucks.
