Alex Smith Traded to Chiefs

Well, it looks like the deal is done.

https://twitter.com/intent/user?scre...w_p=tweetembed

Jay Glazer @JayGlazer
49ers have completed a trade with the Chiefs for Alex Smith, tho can't be official til March 12. Chiefs really made a commitment to Smith

Jay Glazer @JayGlazer
Deal has been agreed upon between Chiefs and 49ers. Compensation unclear but I'm told again Chiefs have made a clear commitment to Smith.

Draft day will determine a lot for me.
I agree.

I never understood it either. The last couple of years he had a Chiefs esque record\team. He wasn't really any better than Romeo this year.

Out only hope is that Smith fails so spectacularly that the front office isn't tantalized to stick with him as long as we did with Cassel.

Press: "So, Alex, how do you feel about going to Kansas City?"

AS: "I'll miss the food. The worst restaurant in the Bay Area is better than the best restaurant in Kansas City."

Press: "So, Alex, Kansas City may lose Dwayne Bowe, which leaves you Baldwin and Wylie as wide outs. Thoughts?"

AS: "I can't throw it AND catch it, too."

Press: "You were benched for Kapernick with the 49ers. Did you think that was warranted?"

AS: "I felt pretty good out there, actually."

Maybe we can start a whisper campaign to discredit Alex Smith. I hear he is addicted to painkillers and likes to punch referees in the face. Also he is sleeping with Andy's wife.

And every team in the league knows it.

Our pick is now un-trade-able. We'll have to give it away.

Way to go Chiefs!
