That comment in the Sig was actually geared toward the beginning of the season after Mahomes had a stellar camp and iced it with performance/play that FAR exceeded even my OWN expectations of how he would perform in the preseason games.

I watched a woman on one of the NFLN analysis shows practically pout that the preseason was over and Mahomes was headed to clipboard duty. The guys at the table were pretty bummed too.

Wouldn't be surprised in the least if Denver sets a few of their players as well to avoid injury in a meaningless game as well especially to improve draft position even though PM2 is playing. Just sucks that it will be in the high 20's with almost 60% humidity which means 27 will feel like about 10. Not conducive for passing except maybe check down crap and definitely not favorable for showing off the arm. It will be 60/40 run with short routes for passing in order to deal with the cold and getting rid of the ball quickly to avoid injury IMHO.
