Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

GTFOH.

That's just blows your credibility to hell, IMO. That dude was nails for us when he came back healthy. Yes, he was massive in winning the SB for us.
I guess we have different view points on what “instrumental” means and that’s fine….

I think 99% of us on here agree that Mahomes is the best QB we have seen in our lifetimes. But, he's still just a man who makes mistakes just like every human being that's ever lived. He is making mistakes. Big ones every week.

WR's are getting open. Wide open. They might drop the damn ball, but they are open. He needs to accept this is what I have to work with this year. Throw the ball to those wide open WR's, hopefully they catch it, then all things they want to do as part of their notmal game plan open up.

Mahomes is gun shy after those two picks in Denver and the pick against Philly that basically cost us the game.

It has taken away some of his aggressiveness, especially with the Chiefs now being able to lean on their running game and defense.

Will it change? Probably not, because we can limp into the playoffs with this passing game.

Just keep telling myself than a 75% Mahomes was good enough last year and now he's 100%.

Too many people discount McDuffie’s impact because they don’t see him involved in big plays.

But it’s because they DON’T see him that he’s making such a massive impact.

I’d take Furious George, Karlaftis, Joshua Williams, Watson and Cook over Tyreek last year and would argue we had a better chance getting a ship than we ever would have with Reek alone.

The Tyreek argument has already been put to bed by the second ring on our fingers, and I wish people would stop pining.

The grass isn't greener and the Dolphins are about to show everyone what frauds they are again.

But at least they can jack off to Youtube highlights of Tyreek's 2,000-yard season and big games against bad teams. That's their consolation prize.

Fun fact - Mahomes is 11-3 in the post season and has not lost to a bad QB in the playoffs yet.

2 of those losses were ref ball specials gifted to Brady

I’ll take the 1,700+ yards and 7 TDs….
Come on man, tackled are the least valuable stat when it comes to corners. McDuffie is aces in coverage.

I’m not saying he’s not or isn’t a really good player…I’d rather have the game breaking WR. That’s just my opinion and how I view team building, esp. with someone like Mahomes.

Mahomes might’ve been 75% physically in last years playoffs, but his mental game and mindset were 100% on point. That’s why we won. His body wasn’t perfect, but his mind was

He has not been on point in 2023

This is a crazy stat.i know this is mainly due to the WRs and the loss of tyreek but even last year Mahomes fared much better on deep balls. We can’t seem to hit any of those shots this year.

That maybe was a TD that was missed.
