Started June 20. Late at night. Around 10:30ish. I would probably toss out the first week if I were to summarize the mandates affect on current trends. Next week will provide more accurate data to work with.

7-day running averages smooth out day-to-day variations and weekend effects.
The 7-day running average of cases started ticking up around June 14. We can clearly see now that deaths are following course, starting July 7. The lag is about 3 weeks. Data clearly show that deaths are going to continue to increase for the next several weeks. It is as inevitable as the Titanic sinking the moment it hit the iceberg. host image free I hope this will end once and for all wishful thinking that increases in new cases won't eventually manifest increases in deaths. |
