Yep. Do we get to violate the salary cap, to help win Super Bowls, like they did though?

They're not getting Rodgers this year. Also, chances are worse for them next year, as other teams will have more to offer. They're also gonna miss out on Watson. He's likely going to Philly. I'll laugh so hard when they end up with Jimmy G.

Man, that's the voice of a guy who was told to make the broncos look good, and he was mailing it in.

The summary is that the broncos will be successful if:

The broncos' head coach who is on the hot seat suddenly becomes good.

and

If the broncos get one of the league's best quarterbacks from another team

and

Melvin Gordon suddenly becomes serviceable

and

a bunch of young receivers all play well

and

Garrett Bolles' fluke year last year wasn't a fluke

and

Von Miller becomes "several years" younger and they don't have injuries at that position

and

their rookie cornerback plays like a high-skills veteran.

and

they overcome the worst quarterbacking in the league.

Okay, yeah. If all of those things happen, maybe the broncos can be competitive on the field, despite having the league's worst front office.

How couldn't they compete with the 1-2 juggernaut at qb?

I didn't know they stacked if that high.

"After their loss to the Bucs in the Super Bowl, opponents of the Chiefs now understand the complex formula to beat them: Get pressure on quarterback Patrick Mahomes by rushing four down linemen, double wide receiver Tyreek Hill all over the field, have a safety that can cover tight end Travis Kelce, have a great tackling defense, especially from the safety position and play great in the red zone."
I'm so tired of hearing this take... Yes, it worked BECAUSE of the state of the OL. It was equally about what the Chiefs could NOT do on offense, because of the depleted OL, than it was what Tampa Bay did do on defense. Someone ought to tell this guy that the Chiefs MASSIVELY UPGRADED their OL.

Deal is, even as things stood, had the WR's caught a few miracle throws Mahomes made under pressure, it's a different game.

So, this year will show us the answer to the fundamental question most ask: can a team legitimately compete for a Super Bowl without a Blue-Chip passer?
This yokel should know the answer to that question in today's NFL or the NFL of the last 20-30 years. The answer is a resounding NO. Hells Bells, Denver hasnt been shit without Elway or Manning. Get an effing clue, bronco fan.

Lombardi: If Denvee swapped rosters with KC, they'd be SB contenders.

Dumb****. Even without the QB difference, KC had a better roster. Hell, KC would win as many games without Pat as Denver with Teddy

Why even bother trying to hype them up, they are going to get destroyed by LA/KC this year. And the raiders MIGHT beat them twice.

Broncos are ****ed for the foreseeable future.

I feel like this article should have been about the Chargers. They look to have a potential top 10 QB with a talented roster.

For the Broncos it’s simple: do you have Rodgers? Bc without him you have no chance
