*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

Awareness of the LOS is astounding. He knows the line he cannot cross before he throws. I just think that's an over looked awareness Patrick possesses.

After watching him for a few years now, I've come the conclusion he has some kind of exceptional spatial awareness sixth sense that most other humans just don't possess.

This always amazes me. So does the fact that Patrick isn't fast but he's always fast enough. He can out run defenders to the spot almost every single time. His scrambles are almost always perfectly productive.

There's something very deceptive about Patrick when he's moving. He doesn't have the agility of Lamar Jackson, but he's difficult to get hold of. His ability to escape from a tackler is amazing.

He's so damn efficient with the way he moves his body. He has such a knack for not wasting any movement. He always dekes them JUST enough to get away.

I loved how the commentators barely reacted to this ridiculous play yesterday.

The main TV cameras didn't do a good job showing proper context on that throw. Pretty ridiculous when you see it from behind Patrick.

Hard as hell to drop a throw like that into the perfect spot when you know you're about to get nailed by the pass rushers, but even more difficult when you're doing that type of throw on the run. He made it look effortless. Hell of a catch by Watson too. Tough to track that ball and come down with it.
