Leading epidemiologist Dr. John Ioannidis of Stanford University estimates that about 150-300 million or more people have already been infected by COVID-19 around the world, far more than the 10 million documented cases.

Florida doesn’t have the subway nightmare and has the benefit of data NY didn’t. They are also testing more than NY did. I highly doubt they ever sniff NYs death count.

Hopefully not and treatments have gotten better. But Florida has a high percentage of over 65.
Yes the current spread is tending younger but I don't think it's possible to completely isolate the older population. |

Up here in north Idaho it seems the only ones wearing masks are Washingtonians and Oregonites. Some stores ask that customers wear masks while some restaurants and bars are completely normal as if Covid doesn’t exist.

A new study suggests the number of coronavirus cases in the U.S. in March could have been 80 times greater and doubled nearly twice as fast than originally reported, amounting to more than 8.7 million coronavirus cases that went undiagnosed.
The report, led by researchers from Penn State University (PSU), analyzed surveillance data on influenza-like illnesses (ILI) from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) xthat were never diagnosed as coronavirus, influenza or any other viruses over a three-week period in March, according to the study published in the journal Science Translational Medicine. https://thehill.com/changing-america...-may-have-gone |

Yeah I don't think they will match NY because it is not as dense except Miami. But if it gets a foothold in the Villages all bets are off. |
