Brown is going to Detroit I bet. He will be exactly what they need to complete their roster.

I talked in another thread about how deep the WR room for Houston was. This really proves it.

I would certainly much rather have brown here than Sky Moore

Nah, Steele is no "sausage" or Burton, you make him out to be. What my "football eyes" see at this point at the very least is a poor man's John Riggins.

Carson Steele is special and will get a lot more snaps than you think. I will take a "poor man's version of Riggins all day. And I think he will develop above the poor version as well.

They’re not cutting Nnadi. They love him like Pioli loved shitty special teams New England pukes starting at safety.

Highly doubtful. Toney doesn’t have the smarts, the work ethic, the attitude or the durability to make it anywhere. Not to mention that he can’t catch.

Stop it! John Higgins was a high 100 yard dash champion.

He is certainly going to get snaps and again like the kid and he deserves a spot, but let's stop with these asinine comparisons based on a couple of preseason games.

I think Toney and Remigio also beat out Ross even if not for Skyy. So that's even worse for him...

So, if I may, who exactly 'runs like a FB' if not a guy with a 4.7+ 40 who isn't elusive and is going to look to go through a DB rather than around him?

What precisely do you think a FB runs like?

I think you're underestimating fullbacks. Or just making some odd generalization as to what they are.

Lemme help -- here are the 10 RBs who played 150+ snaps at FB last year:

Kyle Juszczyk -- 4.71 40
Patrick Ricard -- 5.03 (because again, this dude is an OL)
Alec Ingold -- 4.89
Andrew Beck -- 4.63
CJ Ham -- 4.69
Michael Burton -- 4.74
Khari Blasingame -- 4.55
Jakob Johnson -- ?? No time that I can find
Keith Smith -- ?? See above
Hunter Luepke -- 4.61

So the average 40 time of that group? 4.73
The median 40 time? 4.7

Dude - Carson Steele runs like a fullback.

This is veering dangerously close to "Skyy Moore can be Antonio Brown" territory, isn't it?

I mean FFS fellas - Anthony Sherman played 10 years in the league. Michael Burton is well on his way.

I would bet ANY amount of money that Carson Steele ends up a HELL of a lot closer to Sherman or Burton, to say nothing of Juszczyk, than mother****ing Hall of Fame runningback John Riggins.

This is pure insanity.

Burst and short area quickness are definitely more important, but without some long speed you’ll be handicapping your offense a bit.
