I don't know why you keep downplaying Texas. They have doubled hospitalizations in the last two weeks and their percentage of positive tests has shot up. They aren't the only state having issues but they are heading completely in the wrong direction badly.

Hasn't CA had some of the most strict lockdown and mask wearing laws?

Throughout this quarantine I've been able to run on the streets if not the canyons. From my limited sample size I'd say this entire time the masks I've seen have been no more than 60% of people. The second restaurants opened up they were full of people without masks on. It's not just Texans that are refusing to wear masks. I think Americans just don't like to be told what to do, even if it keeps them alive. See: seatbelts when that became a law. |

So the question is why do you keep downplaying CA? See how that works? Texas had 7.5k new cases today CA had 9.5k and about 50 more deaths than TX |

As far as hospitalizations go it appears CA is worse off than TX as well. At least according to Worldometers.

LA tonight after the Mayor supposedly locked it down for the weekend including bars, restaurants and supposedly visiting family. I am sure this isn't spreading the Rona at all....
