Frank Clark ****ing sucks

Guy has done NOTHING in two games. Barely any pressures to speak of against trash OTs.

Yeah, I'm in bitchy gameday mode. Don't care. I'm tired of paying out the ass for defensive players who don't make plays.

At least Justin Houston could dominate against bad teams after we paid him.

It's pretty blatant.

Especially when we're getting called for ticky-tack bullshit like the hold on Alegretti that took the TD off the board.

Every single rush snap Clark gets held worse than that.

Dee couldn't find the edge, so how could he set it? For that matter, Houston wasn't much better.

The facts are that Dee and Houston were only good for getting sacks against bottom-to-low-middle tier teams. Go back and check: they were never successful against good teams and/or in the playoffs. It's possible that Clark has more sacks, QB hits, pressures than those two combined in playoff games.

And again, what good was it to have a defense that collected lots of sacks? Reminder: in 2018, the Chiefs led the league in sacks with 54.

But in the 2018 AFCCG those two combined for zero sacks and our defense couldn't stop Brady from marching down the field, converting numerous 3rd-and-longs in OT to win the game.

Since that terrible and infamous day, the Chiefs defense has been a much, much better unit, finishing last season with a secondary ranked in the top 10, with 16 INTs and another 8 fumbles recovered by the defense. And winning SB LIV, all without a sack specialist.

It's almost as if Spagnuolo knows what he's doing. Like maybe he's won a SB before or something.

It's going beyond blatant. Not just Clark getting bearhugged by Bolles, but Jones having two OLs being dragged as both of them are hanging onto his jersey, and even a play where Nnadi has an OL attached his waist. I know that the NFL wanted to call less holding, but it's getting ridiculous. And why then call Allegretti's hold, which was nowhere near the same level?

Except for when the Chiefs throw 40+ yard TD’s apparently.

It’s pretty clear why that hold was called.

It's becoming a pattern. Someone go back and check: how many holding calls have erased long TD catches for the Chiefs this season? Off the top of my head I can count at least three or four. I bet it's more than that.

The Texans and titans last year allowed 49 and 56 sacks respectively. The Patriots in 2018 allowed 21. If you out Houston and Ford there last year they dominate too. Let's not act like Houston didn't have 2 sacks and Ford had 1 sack and a forced fumble the week before in the wild card game.

Ive said before, if Ford doesn't make that idiotic ass mistake, the story of the post season is how great the defense played and how sutton turned it around. They would have ended that Patriots game with 24 points and 3 interceptions. But Ford for some ****ing reason decided to have literally zero awareness and ****ed everything up for the rest of the team.

Cause holding calls are extremely inconsistent? Virus is right. Every single fan of every team thinks their pass rushers in particular get held more than any other team's.
