****OFFICIAL Kansas City Chiefs @ Los Angeles Chargers TNF Game Thread****
Everyone is talking about COVID-19 but have you heard of a DEADLY NEW DISEASE that originated in the GREAT STATE OF MISSOURI, WHERE MY FAVORITE FOOTBALL TEAM, THE KANSAS CITY CHIEFS, ALSO PLAY?
We call this disease MAHOMESIASIS-15* It is FATAL to ALL AFC West teams AND their fans outside Missouri. Quote:
PROFESSIONAL ATHLETES are at extremely HIGH RISK. Symptoms: random burn marks, depression, shrinking of genitals, elevated estrogen levels. WAIT WAIT I'M GETTING A REPORT FROM THE CENTERS FOR DEFENSE CONTROL! OH MY GOD THERE'S AN OUTBREAK HAPPENING RIGHT NOW IN LOS ANGELES! EVERYONE THERE IS GOING TO DIE! *Please consult a doctor if your Mahomesiasis-15 lasts longer than this game thread. |

What? I turned 40 this year as well and have lived through much worse than this my entire [Chiefs] life. This is our golden age. Embrace it.

Also this genuinely might be the most unbelievable win I’ve seen us pull off in the regular season since I started watching.
We overcame some ridiculous odds. Teams traveling that far on Thursday night games alone never ****ing win. The only one in recent memory to do it I believe was the Packers beating the shitty Bears. So that in and of itself is a miracle. Let alone Jones/Sneed/Gay being out. |

When are teams going to learn that hamming it up for the endzone camera like you just won something just pisses this team off?

Not sure I see it that way. Brady and Manning weren't in the same division. New England had a guaranteed home game every season with JAGs playing for the Bills/Jets/Dolphins. Herbert is certainly not a JAG.

Derwin James being hurt again was the key. With him on the field Kelce had 1 catch for 14 yards. 9 catches for 177 yards when he was off.

They had zero answer for Kelce once James went out. He was unstoppable. Didn’t matter what they tried. Couldn’t even hold him properly without giving up 30 yard plays
