Public health practices in NYC now are very different than what were in place in early March. Current health practices in NYC now are among the most effective in the country especially considering the challenging conditions with respect to population density.
Those looking down their nose at NYC be double finger wagging at locations that failed.to learn the lessons from NYC. |

It’s so crazy how many people still fear going out in public with all of the information we have now. If you don’t know how to protect yourself from the virus at this point, then maybe it’s just best for Darwin to take you out so we can advance more as a species.
The hospital pharmacy I worked at this past week is out of rubber gloves to give to patients (like most of the country) One of the patients complained for about 5 minutes about how unsafe this is during a pandemic to not have any rubber gloves. It was so great to hear her go completely silent when the pharmacist reminded her that washing your hands is still a possibility and there are signs at pretty much every sink in the country explaining how to do so if she forgot how. |

Looking at cases, the highest NY got was 11,571. Today Florida is reporting 10,682. Florida has got a big problem.

True but if they continue on this pace it won't take long especially since there is zero chance they lock down like NY did. Let's all pray that in a month we don't see the same massive deaths like NY had either. |

At least to this point we aren't seeing the deaths. Now FL notoriously has an older population so yeah, lets hope the death count continues its downtrend and we see a deviation between cases and deaths.
