Ok. The fact you actually had to have that question answered for you shows me that you're utterly reeruned. Either that or dropping $100 on a president who turned around and took a drizzling shit on your xenophobic face.

Amazing that a franchise who is near the top in 100 loss seasons over the last 50 years is going to finish with the worst record in franchise history and STILL not get the top pick. Reminds me of the Chiefs finally getting the top pick when Eric Fisher was the #1 guy. Kansas City can’t even suck correctly.

Man Ryan Madson just gave up a walkoff grand slam to the Cubs in the bottom of the 9th. Went from up 3-0 to a 4-3 loss. That's about as dramatic as it gets.

I'm watching game 1 of the '15 WS right now and they just a montage of all of Madson's homers in the playoffs to that point. Not pretty.
But he gutted it out during the WS when we needed him. And he kept battling and got out of 2nd and 3rd one out in the Houston game when no one thought it mattered. Holy crap just watched the highlight - is that Vasgersian doing the call? Maybe he's just terrible luck for Madson. He absolutely crushed that thing. He knew it instantly - was flipping his bat before his backswing finished. https://www.mlb.com/video/botes-walk...?tid=266435218 And holy shit Chris Young - our unsung MVP that postseason. How many times did we need him to just hold on and he delivered? Last edited by suzzer99; 08-12-2018 at 09:28 PM.. |

Knowing the Royals, and 1st round picks they'll **** it up. Typically it's much harder to **** up the overall #1 pick, though.

One has to wonder what was gained by "this year"?
TBH, I've not followed the Royals closely enough to be able to say it was a complets waste of a year and our young players look sad, or this was just that bad year we had to get through while our future league stars learned this level of the game. Does anybody have any thoughtful opinions, either way? |
