Maybe informative wasn't the right word. Seeing the areas where outbreaks are occurring are interesting though. I'm hopeful they can get those areas under control.

Not particularly surprising. Are they finding a lot of asymptomatic cases?

Our cases were traced directly back to groups of young people in several bars, resulting in hundreds of infections. Glad to see the presser today was all about getting youth to think about who they are infecting. Of course most will keep doing their thing, and lots of old people with a political chip on their shoulder won't take the simple step of wearing a mask to protect the vulnerable population.

In Joplin specifically sounds like is due to an outbreak at the Spring River Christian Village (Senior Living)

City Council is going to discuss next week a mask ordinance. I bet that goes over well down there.

Right. My post was more in the context of what seems to be an increase in positive cases among young people. I know contact tracing here has lead back to a number of graduation parties. I imagine protests appeal more to a younger crowd as well.

Wear a mask. Or don't go out. Do something to help. Because here we are.

That and masks required...not required then required again.

Can't help but wonder what the impact would be if we all could come together and agree to mask up for 30 days.

Yeah, I think the biggest problem is that everyone isn't on the same page. I recognize that we're a nation of individualists, but in something like this, everyone really needs to get on the same page for a little while. We'll all be better off.
