*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

That’s what I’m saying. It was inevitable, but I think Mahomes locked up his spot in Canton tonight.

I don't think it's locked yet. Need to win on Sunday and then it's locked IMHO. But it's pretty amazing that we are having the HOF conversation only 5 years into his career as a starter.

I respectfully disagree. He has already matched Kurt Warner’s career accomplishments (and is only 16 TDs and 8k yards behind him). 3 SB appearances, at least one SB Win and SB MVP, and 2 MVPs. Factor in the 5 straight home AFCCG’s and I think he’s a lock if it all ended right this moment.

Yeah, he's already in. Realistically you could make the argument he was in even before the second MVP. He might have still needed 10 or 12 years of good counting stats, but he had done the hard part. Everyone who has won both a league and Super Bowl MVP is in. But two MVPs is rarified air. I mean, if a multi-time MVP isn't a Hall of Famer, who is?

I think the fact that the 2 AFCCG losses went into overtime isn't talked about enough. Not only did he win 3 of 5, but the 2 he lost needed OT.

If Jamaal Charles, Eric Berry and Andrew ****ing Luck are being considered for next years class, Patrick better be first ballot by a long shot.

If Terrell Davis can get in for his resume then Mahomes is a HOF today.
