*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

I want that ****ing offensive line built into the best in football from OT to OT this offseason.

I generally support what you’re saying.

I don’t see a feasible path to upgrade LT, given where we’ll be drafting, but that’s a great spot to draft a plug and play RT.

Just upgrading over Wylie and getting Trey Smith healthy will make a huge impact.

Watching the quick release plan for the afc championship kind of showed this to be true. They looked great.

I figure Niang is going to be a part of the equation like it or not… Not sure if he’s good enough but I just know they are going to plug him in somewhere…

I don’t see an issue with him in a reserve role. I don’t see how they could rely on him as a starter though.

From today’s Ringer piece:

“Patrick Mahomes has started 93 games in his career. In those games, the Chiefs have either held a lead or been within one score in the fourth quarter 90 times.”

“Just 10.5 percent of pressures against Mahomes turned into sacks this year. That’s the lowest rate of any starting quarterback. Mahomes’s awareness might be his most underrated trait. He consistently has a feel for pressure and the instincts to know where to go to buy that extra half second needed to make a play.”

LOL.

It appears I had blocked that abomination from my memory.

That was easily the low point of the Mahomes era.

Yeah and I chose to travel to that damn game. The highlight was watching Gracie strut her stuff on the sideline before the game.
