***MNF Week 1: New York Jets @ San Francisco 49ers***

Because I am oddly very excited for this one.

Can Rodgers make it through the game, much less look good?

Are the 49ers going to have another massive Super Bowl hangover?

Discuss over the water cooler.

You saw what you wanted to see. The problem is this game is played in 4 quarters.

There is its his 1st game in a year he could get better but he is 40. Meditation over hard work in his rehab may not have done the trick.

Who was dreadful? Garrett? Yeah, he had a bad day, no doubt. But he’s young. He’s going to get better

I didn’t want to see anything, I don’t particularly like Rodgers at all. He was fine though.

Nah, he was fine and presumably will look far better against shitty teams rather than the most talented team in the league on the road.

You can count on one hand the amount of guys in the NFL that can make the two throws he made on the TD drive. Not a doubt in my mind he can still play.

You have poor standards then...nothing wrong with it, but it causes your evaluations to be off. Explains a few things...

He comes across as an immense stubborn prick.

Trying to run everytime on 3rd and 2 or 3rd and 3 against the 49er's in their stadium is just the highest degree of stupidity.

Dreadful? Nah that was Watson and Cousins. Do you think he played as bad as they did?

Can’t believe you’re making me defend Rodgers lol

Standards? Sounds like someone needs to watch more QB play in the NFL because the standard of average starting QB in this league isn’t any worse than Rodgers’ performance in that game. There’s a ton of shitty QB play in the NFL.

I’ll also say that it’s pretty far from his fault that his team got run all over all game by a far superior football team.

His comments about Mahomes in a loss after Mahomes ran all over his team told me all I ever needed to know about that clown.

Seemed like they were running the ball pretty much every time on 1st and 2nd down, putting Rodgers in 3rd and long too often. And then trying to run the ball on the 2 point conversion. Dumb!
