*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

I assume its because throwing for a ton of yards is indicative of QB's having to sling it to play catch up. As opposed to us which is our typical offense.

Correct. Bunch of garbage time stats as well if a team is getting blown out and they put up a bunch of fancy looking but empty yardage in the 2nd half.

No doubt.

Truly intelligent people can analyze a situation for what it is. Understand the facts and evidence even when it doesn't suit your narrative, and come to conclusions and accept them even if you don't like them.

Bias confirmation is the harbinger of ignorance.

When we drafted Mahomes, it was Skip who said he liked our pick of Mahomes, and it was Shannon who said it was a terrible pick.

Probably would’ve made a great heel manager in pro wrestling.
Skip may be playing the fool and making lots of money to do it, but there's a difference between playing the fool and method acting the fool. I think he's barely smart enough to know that his stupidity gets ratings, so he'll lean into his irritating persona and spin the same opinions he's had for years and years, but he's incapable of turning off his stupidity and whacko behavior. I don't think he can NOT be the Skip Bayless character he crafted on TV.

He's just plain bizarre. Like how he pretends to be black and makes sure everybody knows it whenever a topic about race and sports comes up on the show. And how he goes beyond the MJ vs Lebron debate into treating it as a religious person would view good vs evil.

Like... he's not getting paid by Fox Sports to post this to social media. He made the choice to post this and not earn any money.

I've been here and there. Dealing with a lot of anxiety IRL but enjoying my favorite team (KC Chiefs) and their continued success! How are you??
