Why would you use the word “developing” when there’s literally only two WR on that list that we drafted? The others were what they were years before they got here.

It’s okay to say we’re struggling to find above average WRs, we’re still winning games so it’s not that big of a concern as of now.
Just saying, sooner or later we gotta get it right. |

I don't really believe much in development at WR as in a player that has physical gifts learns to play the position in the NFL. The only two cases I can think of are Steve Smith and Tyreek Hill as players that got significantly better in the NFL. Usually if you draft a guy that has no craft, can't run routes-that player still sucks at it in the NFL. When we drafted Hardman we passed on guys like McLaurin and Diontae Johnson. Yes there is a a learning curve as to learning playbook, offense, adapting to NFL speed. But McLaurin was running those crisp, precise routes at Ohio State while Hardman wasn't. |
