They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

The hope I’m clinging to is that he is just taking longer to get a full understanding because he was a RB in hs and only played 3 years at WR in his life before being drafted. And those were at a small school.

But man…dude needs to get better at literally everything.

What... He couldn't cut back inside. That still shot is bullshit. Sky may be underperforming, but not much he could do on that play but try and split the defenders.

What does it look like when you add 14 points combined for Jacksonville & Jets games? Long drives, ton of plays, no points, deliberately ended on the opponent’s goal line. I don’t remember this scenario happening in the 2019 or 2022 seasons, but it has already happened twice this year. Pretty big impact on the season stats considering they have only played 5 games total.

You would have to assume we never kneeled on a ball before this year, it's Andy Reid. We call the dogs off and always have.

Why would you use the word “developing” when there’s literally only two WR on that list that we drafted? The others were what they were years before they got here.

I’m pretty sure given his character issues he would have been drafted a lot higher than that. I mean, still that’s only 1 WR lol. Not ideal, especially since we’ve trade up and passed on better WRs in previous drafts.

Okay, how about this.

Chiefs struggle at finding talent at the WR position.

It’s okay to say we’re struggling to find above average WRs, we’re still winning games so it’s not that big of a concern as of now.

Just saying, sooner or later we gotta get it right.

They very likely did with Rice.

Many of you just don't have the foresight to see it.

I completely agree, I feel like it’s possible he can be our true #1.

The next four games the defenses the Chiefs will face are ranked in PPG

32nd
24th
32nd
26th

Could be a good time to get him rollin’

I don't really believe much in development at WR as in a player that has physical gifts learns to play the position in the NFL.

The only two cases I can think of are Steve Smith and Tyreek Hill as players that got significantly better in the NFL.

Usually if you draft a guy that has no craft, can't run routes-that player still sucks at it in the NFL.

When we drafted Hardman we passed on guys like McLaurin and Diontae Johnson.

Yes there is a a learning curve as to learning playbook, offense, adapting to NFL speed.

But McLaurin was running those crisp, precise routes at Ohio State while Hardman wasn't.
