*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

His statline looks ok but for Mahomes standards he played awful.

Patrick Mahomes needs 194 total yards next week to break the NFL record for Total Offense set by Drew Brees in 2011.

Mahomes needs 429 passing yards next week to break the NFL record for passing yards set by Peyton Manning in 2013.

He made it over 5,000 yards in 16 games without Tyreek. Not too shabby.

Yup. We have cast offs at WR and he still got there. MVS wasn't wanted in GB. Watson wasn't wanted by Brady. JuJu wasn't wanted by Pitt.

I am not criticizing Mahomes, at all, but I wonder why we don't see him on the sideline working on things like footwork, etc. during the game, if he knows he is losing his mechanics.

Speak for yourself. I have often rescued a round by doing some drills on the tee box. Like using my golf towel to make sure I am keeping my head down, etc.

For reference, my low round is 76, but I usually shoot in the low 80s, and at one time was a 10 handicap. I have seen many golfers use drills during the round.

He didn't get to where he is today by having perfect footwork and mechanics.

A great trivia question someday from yesterday's game.

Q: In Patrick Mahomes first NFL reception, who was the qb who threw him the ball?

A: Patrick Mahomes
