*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

I bet he'll be the only person inducted that year due to the length of the highlight film.

Woah. ESPN graded him 34/100 for the Seahawks game. That seems really harsh.

That’s amazing. Cleared the defenders helmet by less then an inch then proceeds to the bread basket.

Probably because of the high number of incompletions although some of those were not his fault. I can’t see any other reason why his QBR was so low. It is ironic that Burrow’s QBR was almost twice Mahomes in spite of two INTs, one of which was a pick 6.

How? Was it the Skip Bayless grading system that Patrick has to play like the mutant love child of Marino and Montana who can run on water and manipulate physics even more so than he does to get any credit.

It’s absurd. I normally think ESPN does a good job with this, but they blew it on this game. Geno Smith did not outplay Mahomes, but that is how these morons graded it. Mahomes was not 2X better in the Broncos game with 3 INT’s compared to this Seattle game, but that’s how they graded it.

Again the only thing that is possible is that yards and completions trump everything.

Mahomes has 41 total TDs vs 11 turnovers. 2 tackles!
Hurts has 35 TDs and 5 turnovers.

Hurts team has the better record and hes been a tad more efficient. Certainly everyone knows Mahomes is better but this is an award about results and what has occured. Unless Hurts misses another game I would honestly vote for Hurts.
