*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****
IT ****ING HAPPENED
OP UPDATE: Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! Last edited by Dante84; 05-17-2017 at 09:40 AM.. |

I much prefer a guy like Mahomes, who CAN run but would rather dial it up with his arm. |

The designed QB runs open up the rest of the running game. If Buffalo were forced to line up and play a traditional running scheme, they lack the ability to do it. Kind of like the Chiefs, honestly.

I really think the Chiefs could do it if they ran a power run scheme. Get away from the zone/rpo game and I think they could do pretty well.

Especially considering he is the Anti Lamar. Lamar avoids contact, Allen seeks it out.

They also seem to keep calling them at questionable times...like after the game is well out of reach for their opponent. I'd save that shit for the playoffs myself.

Agreed 1,000%. I would try to save Allen’s designed rushing attempts for the 4th quarter of very close games and obviously the playoffs. Doesn’t make sense to do that stuff against inferior opponents in regular season games that quickly turn into blowout status.

Still doesn't bother me. Any league I've ever been in awards QBs 1 point per 25 passing yards and 4 points per passing TD while they gain 1 point per 10 rushing yards and 6 points for every rushing TD. Pat is generally a better, more efficient passer, but Allen runs a ****ton more, especially around the goal line. |
