I really hope Sammy is good to go but if he's not 100% I could see them sitting him for the Thursday night game. Or playing him on a limited snap count. We'll see.

Some of the posts in this thread, I don't think you understand the modern day NFL...
If the Chiefs cut Justin Houston and signed Leveon Bell...guess what, that's a win in todays game. Offense>Defense You load up the offense and get a defense that can get a few stops and you are a winner, period. |

“They’ll be out there, and we’ll see what they can do,” Reid said. “It’s not necessarily limited. They’re going to be out there doing what they do. We’ll just see. We’ll just see how it goes. Both of those are day to day. |

Both Sammy Watkins and Eric Berry were listed as Limited Participants in today's practice.
Better than nothing. |

People are just stupid. The money isn't hurting us anyway. Its the perfect short term contract. We can get out of it in 2 seasons. |

There is no stupidity here. Watkins should be in the 1400-1500 yard 12-15 touchdown range to earn his cap space. He needs to take over and dominate a game, not produce "hidden touchdowns" for other players. ***If he takes over playoff games and leads the Chiefs receiving in the playoffs he will have earned his contract IMO*** |

Are they cutting people because the cap is screwed up? If not, it isn't a problem. |

We've got the no punt loss, scoring TDs and losing to a team that only kicked field goals, blowing a 28 point lead, missing three field goals, blowing a 21 point lead/forward progress sack/QB throwing himself a TD. Now we'll be the first team to lose a playoff game with literally zero players on the injury report. I can see it now. |

This is a heck of a stretch coming up and we need all the functioning feet we can get on the field.
So go Sammy! PS ... I'm really glad that Conley has gotten some quality work during Sammy's absence. It gives The Human Trebuchet confidence in another guy. We need both Sammy and Conley in the short game given our current RB situation. FAX |

If Watkins were the #1 or #2 option he would be injured half the season instead of 1/4 of it.
