*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

And as fans we're gonna have to accept that. Because this is how most of the world lives, fellas. Loooooots of teams have worse OLs than we have.
I think Fisher was attacked and ranted at his whole time here.

Pretty much. And he turned into a good player. He was just the victim of a terrible draft class in terms of high expectations for being #1 overall.

Whatever he walked away with out of his career earnings of $79,000,000 probably made it worth it though.

Maybe. It happens a lot, Wylie isn't the only OL on the team that's grabbed a facemask this year.

I mean, he's a backup G thrust into the role of playing starting RT, it's not an ideal situation for anyone. But he's doing what he can, and heck, he's playing better than Cam Erving ever did. Plus, he hasn't stepped on Pat's ankle, not once. I think that we can live with one of our OL being very average, as long as the rest of the starting OL is healthy. Most teams have to deal with much worse on their OLs.

Watching that play on TV, I didn't think JuJu (who appears to be running with an anvil around his neck) was going to have the juice to make it to the end zone. He looks very powerful and is having an excellent year, but man he sure looks slow.

slow ass juju is averaging 3.3 yards per catch more than tyreek did last season and 0.9 yards per catch more THIS season

hell tyreek hasn't had significantly more yards per catch than juju this year in the last 4 seasons

beats him on yards per target the last 4 seasons too

That 9er game was just a masterpiece of "I have the elite QB and you don't".

We've been on the other side of that so many times. Great defense, good running game, good weapons.

Then blech.

It’s beautiful to watch knowing that every time your QB takes the field he is the best player and then watch him remind everyone of that.

It's such a ****ing pleasure to watch this guy. The Chiefs games have always been my favorite three hours of the week, but now every Sunday feels like you're a kid again about to watch some blockbuster sequel you've looked forward to for years. It's like winning the lottery.
