I had seen her in a few guest roles and saw her quirky personality. She has a super high energy level that's for sure.
I think she was the star of the movie for sure. It's funny how Adam Sandler always makes sure to have a role for Rob Schneider. He was funny in what he did in this movie. Sandlers wife Jackie also pulled off a good performance. |

Recent movies I’ve seen (multiple times):
Moana (2016): 4.5/5 stars. Now that I’ve memorized every line of the first 45 minutes, I have come to realize that Moana is my favorite movie heroine of all time. Great music. Animation is unremarkable. Humor works for all ages. The Good Dinosaur (2015): 4/5 stars. The animation in this is outstanding. Do yourself the favor of watching the first 15 minutes to see beautiful art. Writing is average. Lack of songs detracts from the rewatch-ability rating. |

Watched “No Beast So Fierce” on Amazon last night. Wow, was a good movie with lots of tension. We both enjoyed it.

Not new, but I searched the forum and didn't find it. Deathgasm is a hell of a lot of fun, if you like B horror.

Becky (2020) Kevin James, Lulu Wilson, Joel McHale
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt10314450/ Whoa did I just watch a crazy movie called Becky starring Kevin James as a Neo-Nazi White Supremacist who escapes from prison and a family he encounters while on a search for something from his past. He encounters a young girl named Becky and shit goes wild. Pretty crazy and intense drama. Only one part of the story got a little stupid but for the most part really good. Reminds me of Freeway with Reese Witherspoon and the star look a lot like her too. I give it 8/10 Last edited by scho63; 08-18-2020 at 11:42 AM.. |

The Devil All the Time looks good (comes out on Netflix in September). The cast is loaded (Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson, Sebastian Stan, Bill Skarsgard etc etc). Love films that take place in the deep South.

I'm Thinking Of Ending Things (Netflix) - not sure exactly the **** I just watched but will say the first 85% was truly amazing. Anxiety riddled horror that devolves into some type of musical attempt of showcasing the manifestation of loneliness, life trauma, possible mental illness which lost me for the last 15%. Mostly because I hate sing-song, dance-walking performance type stuff even when its appropriate, so YMMV.
Give me Nobody: The Beach: [Leonardo video game scene] any day of the week over interpretive dance in movies. That said, the true horror of this movie is when my wife informed me lead actor Jesse Plemons (Todd from Breaking Bad) has at least one confirmed creampie on record with Kirsten Dunst. |

I caught American Pickle. It was meh. Worth the time but not groundbreaking and some gaping holes.
Spoiler!
That being said, Rogan does really well in it. |
