By the time this team is ready to be good Witt will be out the door. Every player in the organization should be available for trade, either within 7 days or the off-season.

Gavin Cross cratering so badly is really hurting them on that front.

I like what Cayden Wallace has done, and Austin Charles offers a lot of potential and upside.

But a lot of the bats have taken a step back this year. It's concerning.

How is it Baltimore can flip Jorge Lopez for something yet it's impossible for the Royals to do the same?

That's because the Royals did what the Royals do, they don't trust self scouting, they are deathly afraid they'll trade the wrong guy, so they just keep everyone.

If they didn't think Melendez could catch he should have been dealt before he ever touched the MLB...but no now here we are with a catcher in the outfield with next to zero value.

They got Yennier Cano who was an All Star this year and a rookie ball lottery ticket. 2 other guys as well that are basically nothing.

What are you talking about? They dont trust self scouting? I think it's more of the case that they are just absolutely terrible at scouting. They suck at it and so they have no idea if someone is going to amount to anything at the major leagues. I think they had every intention of playing Melendez at C, but they wanted his bat in the majors and didn't really have a place to play him. They're not moving Salvy off C.

But he had a 11.50 ERA in the majors last year, so he wasn't some highly covered player. The Orioles are just better at picking out talented guys.

MustacheHomo released an open letter this morning. I'd share it, but I don't post propaganda here. So find it for yourself and remember we're watching a team that's a real threat to lose 115 games.

Then maybe just maybe they should have replaced the entire front office instead of promoting 1 guy.
