I hate ****ed the Patriots. 54 to 9. Alex Smith goes 18 of 24 for 441 yards, 4 TDs and 1 INT. Melvin Gordon goes for 192 yards and 2 TDs on 20 rushes.

I'm dealing with a bit more of the same now. Apparently they were just lubing me up before they went in.
Whoever Detroit's #89 Thomas is.. ****ing ridiculous. The dude has to be 6'5" 230+ and he was juking every one of my defenders. Then, I was down 17-10 midway through the 4th playing defense. Got them to a 3rd and long. Tyrod had been running all game (probably took 8-9 clean hits and never fumbled or got injured but OK) so I spied him with Dante Fowler. Fowler's sitting there at the LOS being useless like spies always do when Tyrod takes off right up the middle. I shit you not, Tyrod literally ran within a foot of this ****ing douche and he didn't even move. Didn't even try to tackle him. Don't give me any of that 'raise his awareness' bullshit either. That shit doesn't happen IRL. |

The games are actually a shit ton more tolerable with these new sliders, though, so there's that... |

Question: if I miss a game before advance do I automatically eat a loss or do you SIM the game and let the cards lay where they fall?

I do this as soon as a QB breaks the pocket. Spies are only useless if you don't know what you're doing with them, and also Dante Fowler's awareness and tackle aren't the greatest so it's understandable why he blew that play against one of the most mobile QBs in the game. Also you shouldn't be playing a defense on third and long where the QB can scramble for a first down. I usually just rush three and have 8 in zone coverage on third and long. It's going to be very hard for a QB to run for a first in that situation. |

This will cut down on YAC and give you better tackling, at the cost of big hits and turnovers. It's worth it though when you're facing a team with a really good running back. I always set it to conservative when I'm facing Todd Gurley. |
