He made an effort with Lynch and failed. I just think it's funny you think the non-move to get Mahomes was what should cost him his legacy.

It's curious that I've never once seen the Broncos mentioned as even having the slightest interest in Mahomes -- or any QB that year, guys who've had success in the NFL. Meanwhile offensive gurus like Payton and Arians and others were all publicly and widely reported as in love with him. The question is, does Elway have even the slightest bit of ability to evaluate QBs? I guess it's moot if they trade for Flacco. Probably their only option at this point. Not a strong QB draft and an inept GM. Purgatory. Retreads. Oof. |

A bad combination of an unsettled ownership situation, Horseface continuing the trend from his playing days as a coach killer (Dan Reeves, Wade Phillips, John Fox, and Radio should form a support group of coaches railroaded by Equine Face), and a terrible QB situation have made the Denver HC vacancy one of the least attractive HC jobs in the NFL. |

May Horseface McScotchyScotch and the Fighting Bowlens continue driving this franchise through Earth’s mantle.

Fangio is a great defensive mind, but what's he gonna do, make their defense even better while winning games 10-7?
I'd much rather they hire him than a young offensive mind who might be the next McVay or Nagy etc. |

Depends on who the OC is. But there is no doubt that Fangio has been an elite defensive coach. His work with the 49ers and Bears has been amazing.

Lol yea an old defensive minded HC, that’s what’s going to solve the Broncos problems!
This is like Wade Phillips as a HC vs. DC |

Denver was 13th in scoring defense and 22nd in yards per game defense this season.
Their supposed team strength isn’t even that great and their franchise defensive player, Von Miller turns 30 in March. Dumpster fire. |
