Exactly…not really any different than last year. Other than the difficulty they’ve had in catching the ball.

I like Simms, but when he says things like “I’m not sure they can beat the top teams because they’re not getting 80 yd TD drives in 4 plays anymore”….did he even watch last year? They’ve probably had more chunk plays this year than last year at this point.

I thought that drafting Moore over Watson was a mistake then, and it's looking like a bigger mistake now.

Veach doesn't make a lot of mistakes, but that one hurts.

Even Hardman had more success with Mahomes, the guy that never worked with Mahomes in the offseason and visibly frustrated him all the god damn time.

And yet, Veach did not draft Moore ahead of Watson. But please, everyone, find more fantasy things to complain about.

I think maybe we started drafting WRs we felt would be reliable in our spread-it-around offense, rather than WRs with explosive traits.

Right about now I'd say change the mix a bit... Feature Rice and Toney > Moore & MVS, get Ross some experience.

Have we considered the possibility that he's very very stupid?

Because man alive, he sure looks very very stupid out there.

We drafted Hardman who is explosive. We drafted Rice who looks super explosive after the catch.

And we traded for Toney who has a twitchiness unlikely any other.

Wut? Hardman, Rice, and Toney all have explosive traits. And MVS is pretty much the quintessential boon/bust WR. I don't know where this narrative comes from that Veach isn't trying to find talent at WR, but it's ****ing silly. It appears he's made a pretty significant whiff on Moore. That's it. Everything else is proceeding more or less as expected.

Looks like Watson went earlier. Thought he and Pickens were both available when they traded down for Moore. Point remains though. A better guy was available.

If Veach hits on Ross, that would make up for it. And I have a feeling Ross will make it.

has anybody said too bad Veach didn't draft that rookie WR for the Rams? Puka Nacua, every team passed on him so you know, but damn he's having one of the best rookie seasons ever.
