They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

I hope so too but I’d rather a guy who gets open than a guy who drops passes. In the first scenario you ask mahomes to hesitate or throw an ill advised pass or bail. In the second, mahomes feels confident he made the right read and the guy got open.

My concern with Ross was that he might be slow and just can't separate -- and that Mahomes won't throw him the ball if that's the case. That he'll just be a jump-ball red zone guy. But seeing that long catch on 2nd-and-long was great. He has burst.

Like I just said in the Rice thread, man I just wanna see this guy get more chances. F MVS and the gadget guys. Give me a thoroughbred and let's go man.

Moore's snaps are definitely starting to get cut back and they've started incorporating Rice more and Toney got alot more snaps yesterday.

It's no coincidence that yesterday was one of their better offensive days.

DJ hit it on the head, but it was obvious on his early in the game RPO. They had numbers on the outside, swung it out to MOore and he danced around instead of just attacking the defender and turned a first down into a 3rd down.

Together, MVS + Moore played 80 snaps and were targeted 4 times, resulting in a total of 3 receptions for 23 yards.

Wow that really didn’t pop out at me. I don’t even remember seeing much of skyy and Mvs during the 3rd quarter which was when we made our move. I wonder if a lot of that is from the first half and the 4th quarter milk the clock mode.

Yeah, I was surprised too. We saw that there was more of Toney, but Watson and Rice were actually down.

This doesn't tell us how many were passing downs, how many looks they got running routes how many chances they truly had on a given snap to make a reception, etc

I didn’t say we traded for Toney as an immediate replacement for Hardman. I didn’t even suggest it so I’m not sure where you’re getting that from.

If I remember right, Hardman was banged up early on in 2022 before finally heading to IR for something a bit more serious. Couple that with Juju also dealing with injuries early on and I’d imagine that played a huge factor in Veach calling about Toney midseason.
