But Megatron definitely does. If those stats support his narrative. Otherwise, they remain ignored…

Lol wut?

It's not even close with him and Rice?

He has a little more yardage, because he's been the big play guy, but Rice has more targets, catches, and TDs.

It's pretty obvious who the guy is, and who it's going to be, but you knew that already.

Yeah Rice is definitely our most talented I feel like Watson has made some huge plays. Regardless there's some real miserable folks on here we are ****ing 4-1 and could easily be 5-0. Personally I think we are great

Last I checked we didn't actually score those points, so they don't in fact count. You can't count points you didn't actually score when computing pts/gm.

I think it's clear that the team went with Skyy early, as they'd invested a second last year so they expected him to step up. Toney missing camp slowed his progress.

Just my guess, although I think it's pretty much a lock, don't you?

Now, obviously, Skyy hasn't done much. So we're seeing Rice's package of plays grow, and he's looking viable.

And we're seeing a little Ross sprinkled in, too.

Seems to me that they like to have at least one veteran out there on every snap, two when it's an important down. I think that's sensible.

But Veach told us what the team's plan was for the young guys. It seems to me that Moore has disappointed so far, and Toney is...Toney. It also seems like Rice and Ross are seeing their packages increase. Just like we were told they would. Both have shown flashes relative to their snap counts.

My 'homer' take was always that I couldn't see Veach striking out on three big swings and a lottery ticket.

So far, it looks like maybe one swing and a miss, and three maybes.

No, but it's clearly an example of the stat not telling the whole story.

Context is something you regularly ignore if it doesn't fit your narrative.

The post I responded to stated "we're scoring 27 points a game!" or words to that effect. Which, clearly, isn't the case.

Now, if you want to have a conversation about points we could've scored in a game or points peer game we should be scoring, that would be different.

But in this case, the correct answer is, obviously, 25 point something.

You've become such a clown. If a WR catches a long pass on a broken play it doesn't count because that's abnormal. But if a team doesn't score points because they choose to preserve clock and win the game, that also doesn't count.

Your narrative cherrypicking is so chef's kiss.

Context is important though. Those 2 drives had no points, but were arguably the most important drives of the entire season. They ran a bunch of clock to seal victory in close fashion. Ultimately those are the kind of drives the team will probably need in the Playoffs if they want to win the whole thing.

Did Skyy Moore even play today? He's quickly entering bust territory.

What a huge disappointment

Sky caught a pass early and then......IDK....this group just has to grow. This team will be fine. We did just win four in a row.

Rice is looking better every week. Ross made one heck of a grab today as well. Everyone sees it.
