*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

It’s really good coverage. Ward has his hand on the ball, but the angle is hard to keep the receiver from stealing it. Maybe if he batted it, would have been incomplete. But hard to say when this is a stlll and things are running at 1000 mph game time.

Oh it’s nothing against Ward. I am a huge Ward fan and blame Chase’s game on Spags.

But if Mahomes had a game where Reek and Kelce were in single coverage? Hell, we saw what a half of that looked like against TB last year.

With only one more regular-season game, it seems like a good time to post this chart.

It shows the most career touchdown passes through [X] number of games.

Mahomes now trails Marino by 3 TDs through 62 games. Mahomes is at 149, while Marino is at 152. The deep safties looks Mahomes saw this year took their toll, but he's still within striking distance to turn this chart back to red next season.

Yeah can you imagine Spags playing against Mahomes? Holy shit. Mahomes would have a field day. The Spags defense is probably the worst possible defense one could play against a guy like Mahomes.

I hope we've learned from these games. Great QBs are different.

Right, I wish we would have retained him. This was special to watch and had me thinking, wow. Cant wait to see what these two do next year!

Pretty sure Miami offered more than we could at the time. But what if?

Wilson has to be thinking that too. What if I would have stayed in KC, I would be a probowler with a RING!

Miami gave him a nice payday and hes barely played for them. Mahomes probably quadrupled his career earnings with that one game.

That game made Wilson a lot of money.

Let's not kid ourselves, Chase won't get single coverage much more moving forward.
