So we’re still in the same spot we were in 10 minutes ago.

one thing that is interesting, we're gonna be absolutely elite at run blocking now, with a whole lot of top end speed keeping safeties off
could be nice |

wtf is Veltch Beets doing? Giving up pick slots to move up twice for John Ross 2.0 and the 11th tackle at the end of the second round??

If Kingsley hits, we got a goddamn beast of a starting LT. If Wanya hits we got discount Eric Fisher. |

40 spots seems like a lot to give up, but in the end we didn't lose any picks so it's fine

What an amazing draft. Who would’ve thought first Buffalo and then San Francisco would come to our rescue.
Of course we had to trade up for both of those pics. Otherwise Veach wouldn’t have done it. And we got what we need at the two critical positions. What we gave up was not a lot. In fact, we got the better of the deal with Buffalo. If San Francisco got the better of the deal it’s only for fifth rounders. But definitely we do need to resign Smith and hopefully have the space for another broken LT. If we have enough of them, we should be fine until either Morris or Sua wins the job, and if it’s not until next year, that’s OK. |
