I know he’s overpaid, but right now he’s going to be worth that paycheck now that Kareem is gone.

Hunt+Conley is not as strong of an offense than Ware+Watkins+Conley

We are better now than we have been without Sammy the last month.
Oh, I get that, but Ware + Conley is nowhere near as good as Hunt + Conley. Point being, there is no Watkins. I'll be very surprised if Watkins plays against the Ravens.

Watkins is slightly better than Conley but being paid like he's worth 10x's more.

So far he is a bomb

WHY would I need any "inside info" for a comment that states the obvious, and for expressing my opinion that I'd be "surprised" if Watkins plays?

Do you need "inside info" in order to understand simple stuff???

You're understating the difference between Conley and Watkins. A healthy Watkins is 10x the receiver Conley is.

If everything holds it's average we will have lost that much cap space for a 650-700 yard receiver.

If he balls when it really matters he will be worth every cent of cap space. Same goes for Berry.

Up to this point he has been a disappointment. Compare his numbers with guys taking up that much cap space. It's horrifying.

Watkins is an overpaid distraction. He was brought on board to take traffic away from Kelce, Hill and Hunt, and to sometimes make a play when all the others were covered. Most expensive #3 WR in history.

Slightly better?

Conley isn't half the weapon Watkins is with the ball in his hand. Conley is a possession dude, not much after the catch. Watkins can break a team by getting a ball in space.

You know in FA you are going to overpay I will stay say it's the right thing to do to give your young QB everything to succeed.

But like it or not this is a better team with Sammy Watkins, without Hunt this team is going to need him to make some plays on short passes which he is good at.

And you can say blah blah defense, yea well a bunch was spent on Hitchens did that help? Who did you want that was out there? I don't think anyone that could have been signed would have made this defense much better.

Watkins wasn't ever going to produce the numbers to justify the contract in an offense with Tyreek and Kelce and Hunt.

He should get more now with Hunt gone, but it's still not like he's the #1 guy. I think he's a guy Andy and Veach have had a boner on for a while and they went all drunken sailor.

He helps keep defenses honest and I do think he could be a #1 WR if he could stay healthy but we've got enough evidence to know better.

That money could have been used better IMO but at this point you've got what you've got.

Matter of fact they need Watkins a ton now because without Hunt you are going to see teams key on Hill more than they already were.
