Oh I think so!

Now that you all have them in and near KC - have you tried? For those of you in the SE have you tried Jet's Pizza yet?

Which other 'off the radar' pizza chains have you been too?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marco's_Pizza

Just Ordered 3 medium 2-toppings

#1 - Thin, Hamburger + Onion
#2 - Thin, Canadian Bacon + Mushroom
#3 - Thing, 1/2 Canadian Bacon, Mushroom - 1/2 beef, jalapenos

I know they were never delicious - but I absolutely DO miss Pizza Inn and Mazzio's.

We had a Pizza Inn here in Atlanta off 285 until around (I'd Say) 94ish. I remember dad clipping the coupons out of the Blue Springs Examiner for the Pizza Inn deals.

Not sure I ever tried - Ken's. Ken's anyone?

Maybe Joplin or Carthage - not sure.

Dooo it. That brings back memories.

Not a fan though. We have four local non-chains to choose from that are better than any chain. IMO.

They could also stand to have some consistency with their ingredients. For example, I like pineapple and ham on my pizza. Sometimes they've used little cubed bits of ham, sometimes it's chunks of ham, and other times it's been slices of ham. I like to know what I'm getting when I buy a pizza.

But overall, very good pizza!

Thanks for asking!
Thank you for covering that - that does sound good - I'd certainly address your concerns with management - especially if it's a franchise - their ingredient requirements are probably supposed to be the same way EVERY time.

Used to work at the Godfathers in Springfield, Il (its still going strong) they asked me to be a manager the day after I signed up for the Army back in 91(too late, suckers!)... I will always contend that they have the best bacon cheeseburger pizza around

It was a great time in my life, made excellent money for my age... was mostly a delivery driver and they paid me .30 cents per mile + tips + hourly wage

That added up nicely most weeks (particularly when I fudged my miles, lol)... then there was the smoking hot little black chick who was all about me, such a huge regret that I didnt tear her in half, but the wife at the time was pregnant and my conscience held me back

But yeah, cruising around jamming tunes, burning pinch hitters, and making a few pizzas when it was slow was easy living

You live relatively close to where I do so I know the Godfather's you're talking about. Probably ordered from there a year or so ago. The pizza is good, but they charge too damn much for it. A large supreme and breadsticks will set you back something like $30. I'll just go to Minksy's if I'm trying to drop that much on pizza.

My Dad always got their 'Hot Stuff' pizza. Hot sausage with jalapenos, onions and I think that's about it. I liked that stuff quite a bit as a teen.

Godfathers still exist in Houston. It is still pretty good but relatively expensive. There is not one near me though one opened up about a year before I left my old apartment.

Yeah the one in Antioch Annex and your right 30 bucks gets you a Minsky so unless coupon no way. They mailed out a bunch of coupons but like usual I let them expire.
