*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

I just realized where I was at on the day our savior was born.

I was in Arrowhead watching James Hasty getting kissed by Marty Schottenheimer.

The Bears and Bills will always have a nice place in my heart. The bears for passing on Mahomes and taking a QB that's not even on their team anymore and the Bills for trading that pick to us.

My brother-in-law is a bears fan. That decision will always haunt that fan base.

I was at the liquor store today. The guy in front of me had a Bills 🤮 hat on. I said. “ Bills huh?”. He looked at my Chiefs hat, and didn’t say anything. That’s where we are with fans of the team we beat in the AFCCG. Feels good TBH.

Nobody is comparing Baker Mayfield with Tom Brady.

You said he wouldn’t thrown that interception when there are countless examples over the last 3 years that says otherwise.

Holy cow I remember that day. The ref getting in the way and Hasty going yard. I forgot that Lin Elliott missed a short field goal to win the game. Kind of a preview of what would end up happening to us later...

I used to stay over to my grandparents house in Leawood in the 90s. They lived directly behind a house that Bo Jackson owned. He apparently very rarely stayed there. We were always looking over the back fence to see if he was out in his back yard. Never saw him.

We were out one weekend at Maggie Moo's and my grandpa said "Hey look over there. That's Harvey Williams. No - don't say anything to him. Leave him be." Must've been around 93 or so. There were a couple other Royals and Chiefs players we saw around but I forget who.
