This is not a guy ready for the NBA
The NBA is also not looking for bigs who can't shoot and can't switch on to guards defensively. Unless he really wants to go undrafted, he's not going anywhere this year.

The day the Kansas-Kansas State rivalry changed forever

Quote:
The last moment Kansas and Kansas State were athletically similar looks like a time capsule. The video lives on YouTube, which of course didn't exist 30 years ago, and neither did the Internet connection you need to watch it.

You have to be a certain age to remember this far back. If you're not, you probably wouldn't believe this time existed, when K-State basketball did not have to stand on its toes to see up to KU's level, when K-State football did not need binoculars to see down to KU.

The moment came 30 years ago this month, in a building that's since been demolished, with short shorts and no names on the backs of jerseys. Some of the men who played that day are now grandfathers.

Kansas and Kansas State met at the Silverdome in suburban Detroit, a spot in the Final Four in Kansas City on the line, the most consequential basketball game ever involving two local schools. Wasn't just the chance at a national championship, either.

I don't really remember K State being that big of challenge in basketball. K State upset the #1 and made KU's path forward easier, at least on paper. The only conference rival in basketball was Oklahoma.

I do remember the riots in Manhattan that followed the KU-K State games in the 80's, fun times. The best, not, football game was probably the toilet bowl when neither KU nor K State won a conference game that year even though they played each other during the regular season.

Clayton Custer. Loyola's PG, leading scorer and shooter.

53% FG, makes 1.9 3PT a game at a 46% clip, 79% FT shooter. 4.2 APG a game. 13.3 PPG

Word on the street is he would be open to a grad transfer to KU next year (grew up in Overland Park). His buddy Ben Richardson (also from Overland Park) is a senior this year on Loyola, so it wouldn't be like he's hanging him out to dry.

Not sure if KU would have room for him, but probably could use a back up PG if the staff doesn't think Moore can do it. By all comments from the staff they seem to indicate Moore is a scorer.

Could be an option if both Vick and Malik leave and we strike out with Langford.

Everything I've ever read says Moore is the real deal. A great PG. Where are you reading he's questionable?

I expect Moore to start the year out at PG quite honestly, then give the keys to Dotson by middle of the year while Moore takes on a more scoring role. It just seems like based on comments the staff feel Moore is legit, just more of a scoring guard than PG.

If you're talking about PGs specifically, we will have Moore and the incoming 5-star Dotson.

Where have you heard about Moore being the real deal? Not saying it's not true, would just love to hear about it too.
