*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

It was so freaking awesome to walk out of that stadium that day knowing that we were going to be a force to be reckoned with for years to come....
I quit my job that night so I had more time for Mahomes.

You must be forgetting that we have a 17-game schedule now.

I bet everyone that is a Chiefs fan has that game earmarked for life. As good as the Charger game the week before was, this one solidified it for many. Hell, we hadn't won in Pittsburgh since the mid-80s, and for a guy making his 3rd start in the league to put on that show was amazing.

Hell, I may go home and watch it tonight just for fun!

That was about as perfect as a QB can play. If memory serves, he just barely overshot Robinson (or maybe Hill?) right before Hunt got tackled for a safety.

He hits that potentially 99 yard TD, and it’s probably the single best passing performance in league history.

I think it might have been to Reek....don't recall exactly, but yeah, we took a shot immediately before the safety

It feels good starting the season, knowing we have the best QB in the league. Here’s to a great season for Pat and the rest of the team this year. Our roster is the best I can remember in the past 30 years. I believe we’re built for another Super Bowl run this year and I can’t wait for the season to start. Let the games begin. Go chiefs!!

Afterwards, I took my headphones out and was just shaking my head. Someone asked me how the game went.

I literally said "The entire NFL world just changed with this game." They chuckled, and had no clue I was dead serious.

I'll honestly never forget it.
