***MNF Week 1: New York Jets @ San Francisco 49ers***

Because I am oddly very excited for this one.

Can Rodgers make it through the game, much less look good?

Are the 49ers going to have another massive Super Bowl hangover?

Discuss over the water cooler.

San Fran has too many weapons.

Shouldn’t they be about due to run into cap trouble?

Rogers is a ****ing dipshit 90% of the time he opens his mouth - but he throws a pretty ball. I wouldn't have minded him as a vet retread if Patrick Mahomes never existed. We probably would have won at least 1 Superbowl with Andy and a mid 30's Rogers.

They may be a playoff team this year if he stays healthy

He can put his feet up on the desk and get a solid B

But he's never felt pushed to get an A+

Big "If." But after watching the Jets defense through the first half, if I were a Jets fan, I'd be pretty concerned about that defense. They were terrible vs. the run (without CMC) and never seemed to adjust until just now.

His only problem is being old and frail against the pass rushers. Hard to blame him after a career full of injuries.

49ers might be the most talented team in football with an offense that is effectively unstoppable. Can’t penalize them too much here.

I can see a guy like Purdy not breaking the bank. I understand the "get your bag" mentality and I wouldn't blame him one bit, but why not just be a ****ing hero and say, I'll sign for 40M a year. Its has to happen at some point.

49ers are pretty much unbeatable unless they’re playing the Chiefs.

He's probably getting $50M, which would be a mistake, after watching some of the awful misses he's had both in PS and this game.

I wouldn't offer him more than $40M/yr; this is his ceiling right here and it ain't worth more.
