I think you are way too high on a guy that could have 6-8 WR's ahead of him.

If the guy picked 8th at WR in this class is a top 15 WR in the NFL, then this class would be the greatest WR group of all time if all these guys are D Jackson and frail Franklin is Slim Reaper.

Let's slow down the hype just a tad here....

Bro Antonio Brown was a 6th rounder, DeSean Jackson was a 2. It's entirely possible Worthy is better than numerous guys taken ahead of him, that's the draft.

That's where my round 1 ends.

Mitchell and Thomas Jr are preference.

I prefer the guy who could eat 10-12 targets a game over the elite Vertical 2 in Thomas Jr.

But either would be WAY better than tiny Worthy or Frail Franklin.

NFL teams sometimes let a better player drop.

But not as often now as when D Jackson was drafted.

I don't get the excitement for Worthy.

He is the darling of the analytics bros who will then just change it around if he gets drafted later, saying "draft capital"!

Isn't it cool to never be wrong?

Guys who have a bunch of film making plays that run 4.22 and jump 41 are the types of guys you want on your team.

Depends.

Kadarius Toney has a 40" vert and ran a 4.38 40-yard dash and he absolutely sucks.

This time of year people typically get too enamored with the athleticism numbers and focus less on if they are an actual good football player.

That's how you convince yourself to draft John Ross.

His jumping is irrelevant to me.

He's fast and runs well in a straight line.

I don't like his route running, hands, or COD enough at his tiny size.

I also don't think he has a certain role in the NFL.

Gadget/Slot- but slots that barely weigh more than 150 lbs aren't volume or difference makers.

He was charged with five drops in those four games according to PFF, including three versus the Huskies. Overall, he had a drop rate of over 10 percent. That figure was over double his 2021 mark of 4.6 percent.

Thomas, Wilson, Hardman, James, Pringle etc. All smallish speed guys and we need to move on from this unless the guy is Tyreek.
Umm no they weren't.

And Rice certainly isn't. Pringle wasn't.

Drop rate is really overblown when he plays with Quinn Ewers.

I see a Kadarius Toney type impact. Maybe take out this year and just the few games where he caught a few nice passes when he first got on the team.

Vert and broad jumps are how you measure explosion, so it matters.

Rice is the only success and he's not a tiny player or frail like Franklin.

Pringle wasn't drafted.
