Watkins was never going to put up #1 WR numbers with his injury history, and with guys like Hill, Kelce and Hunt on the team.

If he's healthy in 5 weeks and KC puts up some points and wins some playoff games then it's money well spent since he's an important piece in a well tuned machine.

You might actually see more production from Conley than Watkins.

Part of the reason to sign Watkins is so teams can't afford to triple on Hill. That is exactly what the Raiders did. Conley & Kelce are good enough to make them pay. Kelce in finding the underneath & the seams in coverage. Conley in beating single coverage.

But other teams respect Watkins more than Conley. I expect to see more out of Hill with Watkins in the game.

This has been the point all along. You can survive crippling losses with that many weapons running around.

Watkins foot is his Achilles Heel. Has been his whole career (pun intended).

Berry's Achilles is his Achilles.

So your point of having less talent on the other side of the field will lead to Mahomes forcing the ball more to Hill? That forcing more throws to Hill and Kelce is a good thing?

Having less talent is awesome.

Wow. That's it..

We've got the no punt loss, scoring TDs and losing to a team that only kicked field goals, blowing a 28 point lead, missing three field goals, blowing a 21 point lead/forward progress sack/QB throwing himself a TD.

Now we'll be the first team to lose a playoff game with literally zero players on the injury report. I can see it now.

The Chiefs are loading too much of the burder on Mahomes.

No defense
No running game
No explosive plays in the passing game from the RB
Less WR options

Let's just throw Mahomes out there by himself and tell him to go for it.

11 vs 1 is no problem, Mahomes really can throw it and catch it too.

Taking the risk on Watkins is not looking good right now. We should have traded for Golden Tate and probably Clinton-Dix too.
