What's Madubuike projecting at? 4 years 95? 60 guaranteed?

Maybe build Dline around him if Jones can't be retained

This says the Ravens will probably tag him if they can't get a deal done, although this article is from 6 days ago.

Wilkins is probably $8M cheaper than Chris jones per year. Spotrac has him at $20M. I could see a 4 year $80M deal with $35M guaranteed. Again, I’d rather have Chris Jones. He’s a better player but I don’t see us paying him $30M/year and I bet he’s asking for $120M for 4 years with $60M guaranteed. I’m guessing the chiefs have offered something similar to what Spotrac has below with 3 years and $85M and $50M guaranteed.

He already turns 29 in December so if it's this or that, just keep Jones.

Spend the money on the offense. We're just going to have to score more points. Add good reciever in FA and a stud first round WR it's realistic we can pull this off. The defense is still top ten without Jones or Sneed, it's just not a all-time defense like it was.

He's a very different player than Jones is, he's a lot more active in the run game but his pass rush ability isn't as good he's probably an above average pass rushing DT but he isn't gonna wreck a game.

Wilkens biggest value though is his motor in the run game a DT that has years of being in on 98 and 89 tackles is extremely active.

I like the guy. And if we didn’t have Jones I’d want to sign him. But if we are talking a couple million bucks a year difference Then I’ll keep the three time Super Bowl champion who is what a year older and going to go down as an all time great Chief

I mean he did have 9 sacks this past season...I get the point though.

I'd take him in heartbeat if Jones walks.
