Steelers release DeCastro
Just got a notification.

We’re set on the OL, but I thought it was interesting to see him get released at this point in the offseason. May follow the center into retirement.

Another prime example of the "will hold down his spot for a decade at all pro play" is just not the bar to set for any draft pick.

I've probably told this story before but a few years back, I was hanging out with some friends that while they work in the entertainment business in various roles, all follow the NFL closely. Trey Smith is a high character guy, who plays well in space. Tremendous upside All he does is makes plays. Plug him in as a 10 year starter.

Yes. Everyone thinks every draft pick we get is a 10 year starter. I get tired of that sh*t around here.
