There are two big differences between the Chiefs and the Rams this year. The first is schedule strength. Kansas City's past schedule now ranks seventh by average DVOA of opponent, while the Rams' schedule ranks 22nd.

I feel good about having a tough schedule this year and it will mentally prepare us for the playoffs when all the teams are rather good.

I thought we could win a SB in my lifetime, but I always figured it would be more of the backdoor variety where we sneak into the playoffs, get a couple lucky bounces, and advance. I never thought we'd do it for the first time as the favorite, but I genuinely believe this is going to happen. If not this year, then next.

I'm guessing that's fairly well tied to having home field. If we lose it those numbers probably drop like a rock. If we can win this weekend it might even go up.
