Stupid ass deal. RBs are not worth anything near that. Who led the league in yards last season? Hunt did and we got him in the 3rd and pay him way less and got more production.

Ok, than I seem to be in the dark here.

My theory is they're stringing him the **** along and plan to tag him twice and maybe sign after that and hoping he continues to participate until that point.

I think if they were real serious about getting a deal done, he would be showing up for TC. They're basically playing the field and trying to string a bunch of side hoes along to milk it for all its worth.
