My Projected AFC QB Landscape by 2020

AFC East
Patriots - Brady?
Bills - Allen
Jets - Darnold
Dolphins - ???

AFC South
Titans - Mariota
Texans - Watson
Jaguars - ???
Colts - Luck?

AFC North
Steelers - Rudolph
Ravens - Jackson
Browns - Mayfield
Bengals - ???

AFC West
Chiefs Mahomes
Broncos - Lynch?
Raiders - Carr
Chargers - Rivers?

I can't count Brady out barring a major injury but seems like he's approaching retirement sooner rather than later. I think either Big Ben retires or the Steelers cut ties and move forward with Rudolph.

I have no idea who will be under center for the Fins, Jags or Bengals by then. I think Elway gives Lynch another shot but could be wrong.

Chargers might possibly go on a couple of deep playoff runs that reinvigorates Rivers but it could go the other way with failed seasons prompting his farewell to the game. Obviously, Luck and that shoulder are a question mark for the Colts.

Thoughts?

I'm always surprised by these Nostradamus inspired threads. Are you hoping to look back at this post in 2020 and tell everyone, "SEE WHAT I PREDICTED!"

I think he will have a solid 2018 season.

2015 Head Coach - Ken Whisenhunt (fired November 3, 2015) Interim Head Coach – Mike Mularkey.

Offensive Coordinator was Jason Michael.

2016-2017 Head Coach - Mike Mularkey

Offensive Coordinator was Terry Robiskie.

So, LaFleur should be an improvement over Robiskie, in my opinion, and Vrabel should be better than Mularkey, who sucked during his time in Buffalo and Jacksonville. "Exotic Smashmouth" just isn't going to work all the time.

I predict Vrabel will be a colossal failure of a head coach

Agreed. 50% of Mariota's problem was the play calling/coaching and the other 50% was injuries. I think the real issue is staying healthy assuming the play calling/coaching will work itself out.

That's how I found out about this board, back around Super Bowl XXXV we had a poster named Fat Elvis would drop in all the time. Now I never go on a Ravens board and mostly look at his one for movie reviews, whatever else is trending, I usually don't talk football. I'm 67 but I still think like I'm 30 and like to stay up on things. Impossible to follow music with MTV and all the other crap. I've always followed your board because most other boards remove anything off topic, heck it's the off topic I like best. If the Ravens don't play good, I always pull for the Chiefs.

I guess it's the New England tie-in, but I think of Charlie Weis, who hasn't done much as a head coach.
