Even a blind squirrel finds a nut from time to time. You just don't pay a WR that much money unless you have a franchise QB on a rookie deal. Minnesota is fortunate that they have a QB on a rookie deal but there is no way to know if he is a franchise QB or not. I question whether any WR is worth that much in comparison to the value they bring in the W/L category.

Jerry should have paid Lamb first. Their production is almost identical.

Do you trust say the cowboys, cards or Seahawks to do what Veach did? There’s only a few front offices that have proven they can draft in the plus year in and year out. If your San Fran, Kc, Philly, Pitt or the ravens you probably feel good. As an owner wanting added in seats and beer in bellies you probably pay the super star in hand and appease the fans. Minnesota is definition of a meh franchise and isn’t a big market that can just fall back on fandom alone. Imagine if we traded tyreek and got Kaiir Elam and Jermain Johnson instead. The fan base would be more pissed than ever.

Jerry should have unless Lamb wanted to wait. Dallas still needs to figure out their "Dak" problem. Plus Parsons will be due to reset the market for defensive players.

Jefferson averages 20 yards more per game. That is statistically significant.

Rookie QB contract makes this make sense.

Should help McCarthy’s development and by the time it’s time to pay JJ they can move off Jefferson.

The Vikings would've been better off trading him. All the WR talent in the world won't compensate for a dog shit QB. They won nothing with Cousins, and they damn sure aren't winning anything with McCarthy.

You can only pay a WR like this with a QB on a rookie contract. Cincy is ****ed now.
