Thank God. Now there’s no way he’s coming back (not that I thought he would/should).

Genius move by Toney. He won't drop catches any more because his rapey QB is incapable of throwing anything remotely catchable.

Um, excuse me, shouldn't the thread title be: "Super Bowl Champion playmaker Toney signs with Browns?"

Yeah, dude tried. I wish him luck.
Don't see why there's so much "GTFO" other than maybe his pre-playoff rant about saying he was injured when he wasn't, if that was a real clip or not. Either way, Reid & Co took care of that with benching. I think after his release Andy said something like "we probably dot have that ring without him." |

I heard he would've signed sooner, but he kept dropping the contract.

I believe that his contract was guaranteed this year, so the Chiefs are on the hook for it. Anything that he's paid by the Browns should go against that. I imagine that he will just get the vet minimum, but even that should free up close to $1M if he gets paid for the whole season

Hope KT has some success in CLE, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Watson is clearly washed, and I don't think whatever KT can bring talent-wise is going to help Watson at all.
